Do you fall prey to weak speak? 🫢

We often inadvertently use submissive language that makes us appear “smaller”. It comes from wanting to be liked.

Here are a few examples;

“Does that make sense?”

“Sorry to bother you…”

“Hope that’s okay?”

“No worries if not!”

I’ve definitely been guilty of this myself and tend to see it more in women.

But since becoming aware of it, I actively try to catch and correct myself.

Being direct and assertive is not a bad thing - it shows confidence and self-respect.
